June play dates

Hello everybody! Hope your week is going well. Just wanted to share our scheduled June play dates. Invite others anytime.

Sat., June 6th- Cripple Creek Farm--FREE- exotic & farm animals--meet at church (FUMC) at 9 a.m. and we will caravan there. Pack a picnic lunch that we will eat there and wear farm attire (not Sunday best)

Tuesday, June 9th- Smyrna Splash pad- 11 a.m- FREE- Splash in all kinds of sprinklers and pack lunch to eat there and stay for awhile (I'll be late b/c of swim lessons, but will be there) http://thisissmyrnatn.blogspot.com/2006/06/fun-with-water-in-park.html

updates


They have cancelled the public from picking strawberries at P & P Farms (until maybe late this month).  So, if you are still interested Valley Home Farm are open for business.  They are $1.75/pound or about $9 a gallon.  We will meet at the church at 9 and carpool there.   Let me know if you want to join us, so we don't forget anybody.  There is a nice park with tables and playground that we can go to afterwards and have a picnic.  So, bring picnic lunch with you.  Let me know if you want to join us, so we don't forget anybody.

Mark your calendars!




We have some FUN things planned for the rest of May and early June!  Please pass on to other families as school is almost out and they are welcome to join us on any!

Wed. mornings-  meet at FUMC from 7-7:20 for a very short prayer service.  A great way to start your day!

If you signed up (and there still maybe time) tonight (Thurs night )a Gardening and Lawn class at Home Depot 7-8:30 p.m.

Wed., May 20th- Strawberry picking--P&P Farms at 9:30 a.m. (P and P Farms -

Monday, May 26th-10 a.m.- Fire Station Tour--(Please RSVP so I can give them a # we are looking at)--Main Station on Main St.





Friday, May 29th--Airport tour--meet at 10 a.m. at Murfreesboro Airport and bring a picnic lunch to enjoy a picnic afterwards

Next few Days

Hey everybody! There are some new events tht I want to share before my large list for May. I have several people contacted in trying to set up Cripple Creek Farm, fire station tour, airport tour, etc. I will let you know as soon as I have dates. Here are a few things the next few days.

Wed. April 29th- 7 am Come join us at church (FUMC) for a short prayer service (15-20 mins) and come to walk for 45 mins. afterwards to get a little exercise before the day starts.

Wed. also-- 31 cent scoop day at Baskin Robbins from 5-10 pm

May 1st-3rd FUMC Church-wide retreat

Monday, May 4th --Just in case anyone asks how they can help support the tornado relief, Bounce U will be donating 100% of their profits to the Red Cross on May 4. They are charging $5.00/child to come in and play on their equipment. The staff at BounceU are also donating their salaries on these dates as well. It is a good opportunity for children to have fun and support a good cause. All Ages Open Bounce! 4:00-7:00 pm. 100% of the proceeds will go to the American Red Cross to help the victims of the recent tornadoes. $5.00 per bouncer ** SOCKS AND SIGNED WAIVER ARE REQUIRED TO BOUNCE *** RESERVATIONS ARE HIGHLY RECOMMENED!
